Birth of the Mont Blanc ecotourism Association!

The meeting for the creation of Mont Blanc Ecotourism Association took place on December 2007, 6th in Demi Lune hôtel.

The main purpose of the Mont Blanc Ecotourism Association is to expand responsible tourism in the Mont Blanc Country.
It deals with:
- identify new plans and actions in responsible tourism and Ecotourism,
- collect all this actions in the same goal: developing responsible tourism,
- collectives actions,
- communication and promotion.

The decision-makers of the association are:

"J'aime ma planète" Award

On Friday, November 30th, during the Natureva expo in La Roche-sur-Foron ( Organic fair) Adrien Duvillard received the " j'aime ma Planète" award. The General Manager had been awarded for getting the ISO 14001 certification and for introducing the global environmental measure in collaboration with all the economic touristic actors of Megève.

Children and Recycling

Last October 30th, 31rst and November 1rst, Eric Pagenel, in charge of Environment Education, came to Megève Tourist Office and Sports Centre, to speak about environment and recycling puppet making. A joy for children!
